Ikezu-ishi Playtest v0.2 is now available featuring even more fun for your feudal Japan inspired Cairn games:

• More equipment and rules from Cairn so it's a nearly "complete" game
• NPCs of the Human, Animal, and Yokai persuasions
• Even more tables for exploration in an inspired setting

On the Yokai:

There are 25 Yokai for players to encounter in the world of Ikezu-ishi. I've tried to keep the list to generic yokai without ties to specific individuals or historical figures and that are often portrayed as malicious.

Yokai are an interesting bunch. They're not all "evil spirits," but are often pranksters or even blessings or signs of good fortune. While I could just run and stat a list of every yokai I can find, I do want to be respectful and a little accurate if I can be. The list will continue to grow in time to allow for a variety of encounters, just want to make sure I get it right.
