I was young and foolish then. I feel old and foolish now.


Remember way back in March, a whole 6 months ago, when Ikezu-ishi v0.4 came out and I was like "is this a finished game?"


3 months later v0.5 came out so clearly v0.4 was not the end. And now I'm putting the finishing touches on v0.8 (yes, there are two other iterations that were not published) and I'm thinking "Is this a finished game?" and if I have to ask...

There have been some big changes from v0.5 to v0.8. Some have been cosmetic (new layout, rearranged chapters, images added) some have been thematic (a setting, embracing some terminology, factions) and some have been "woah dang I love that mechanic and have got to use it" (see Block, Dodge, Parry). All have made this a better game and I'm excited to get it wrapped and shared. Hopefully in the next week!
